Get Aligned with the Six Critical Questions

These six critical questions should be answered individually so that the answers can be compiled to identify any gaps that the Leadership team, or in fact any team, need to work on together.

This should be a quick exercise. If there is too much doubt or too many different answers, it needs further examination.

The answers can help you and your team to create the plan and offers the strategic anchors for aiding on-going decision making.​ It’s important to remember that alignment and accountability are fundamental to healthy organisations. ​

Here’s the six critical questions again:

Keep answers concise, do not confer with your colleagues, and avoid using marketing speak.

  1. Why do we exist?
  2. How do we act?
  3. What do we do?
  4. How will we succeed?
  5. What is most important right now?
  6. Who must do what?
