TeamX: Why Community, Trust, and Team Really Matter
Reflections from our inaugural TeamX™ Community Meet-Up
On 4th December 2025, something special happened. Twenty people came together in London for the very first TeamX Community Meet-Up, kindly hosted by Andy Bryars and the team at Drata. At one of the busiest times of the year, and despite the effort of travelling into the city, every single person who said they would attend showed up.
That alone told us something important: there is a real appetite for this conversation.
The Power of Being Together
From the moment we arrived, the buzz was infectious. We could see connections forming, conversations flowing, and a genuine sense of belonging emerging. It was a powerful reminder of what happens when people come together in person: trust builds faster, ideas spark more freely, and shared challenges feel lighter when you realise you’re not alone.

What the TeamX Community Should Be
The discussion in both groups was rich, open, and full of energy. We explored what we want this community to become, and the themes were clear:
- Keep the group intentionally small to protect trust.
- Meet in person twice a year, with virtual drop-in sessions in between
- Elevate the “people and teams” conversation inside organisations
- Build shared metrics that show the real impact of great teamwork
- Learn from shared experiences, not theory
In short: a community that helps make the soft side of business deliver on the hard outcomes.
Everyone in the room had genuine care for the power of team, not just as a concept, but as something they actively champion and experience every day.
Thank you again to all who joined, connected, contributed, and made the evening so special. This community has so much potential, and we’re only just getting started.
Final Reflections
The inaugural TeamX meet-up confirmed something we strongly believe: The challenges around teaming, trust, and alignment are not isolated. They are being felt across organisations, industries, and roles. What changes everything is having a place to talk about them openly, with people who care.
This community is just getting started, but the foundations are strong: trust, honesty, shared experience, and a collective commitment to making teams work better.
We’re excited to see where TeamX goes next, together.
